Section 1
Shannon Becker, pitcher, Class AA, Mahopac HS, Class of 2021, 1 State Player Of The Year award. All state three times (1st team, 2nd team, 4th team) Lost junior year to pandemic. College - Notre Dame.
Section 2
Jamie Graves, pitcher, Class D, Fort Ann HS, Class of 2000, 1 POTY, All-State 4 times (1st, 1st, 1st, 1st). College - University of Hartford.
Contributor Greg Brownell - Glens Falls Post-Star Sports Editor, covered HS softball in four decades and still volunteers his time covering sectional/state playoffs in retirement. Assisted All-State selections for more than two decades. Won countless sportswriters awards.
Alysa Russell, infield, Class B, Mechanicville HS, Class of 2012, One POTY, All-State 3 times (1st, 1st, 1st). College - Utica.
Section 3
Kelly Corr, shortstop, Class B, New Hartford HS, Class of 1991, All-State 2 times when all classifications were combined. During her first two years on varsity, All-State had yet to be created. College - Bucknell.
Section 4
Atalyia Rijo, shortstop, Class AA, Corning HS, Class of 2022, All-State 3 times (1st, 1st, 1st) and missed her sophomore year due to pandemic. Colleges - Arkansas and Texas A & M.
Andrea Noyes, pitcher, Class D, Afton HS, Class of 1998, One POTY award, All-State 4 times (1st, 1st, 1st, 1st). College - Cortland State.
Section 5
Katie Sidare, pitcher, Class AA, Victor HS, Class of 2020. 1 state POTY, All-State 2 times (1st, 1st) and lost senior year to pandemic. College - Gannon.
Section 6
Coach Todd Banaszak, Clarence HS, 1992-2026, career record 464-210, twice NYS Coach of the Year, 2 state titles (2012 and 2023), 2 state runner-up finishes, 8 final fours, 10 sectional titles.
Summer Clark, pitcher, Class A, Williamsville East HS, Class of 2021. 1 POTY, All-State 3 times (1st, 1st, 3rd). Missed junior year due to pandemic. College - Syracuse.
Section 8
Jenna Laird, shortstop, Class AA, East Meadow HS, Class of 2020. All-State 3 times (1st, 1st, 1st) and lost sr. year to pandemic. College - Missouri.
Coach Fran Nocella (Wantagh HS, 1974-1992), lifetime record 321-86-1. Won four Section 8 titles and two regional titles in 19 years.
Michelle Daubman, pitcher, Class A, Plainedge HS, Class of 2011. All-State three times (1st, 1st, 2nd). College - Fordham.
Section 9
Brianna Roberts, pitcher, Class AA, Monroe-Woodbury HS, Class of 2022. 1 state POTY award. All-State 2 times (POTY, 1st) lost sophomore year to pandemic. College - Binghamton and Virginia.
Section 10
Coach/Contributor Allen Minckler, Heuvelton HS, 1993-2008, Class D, 257-65 career record, numerous section titles, one state runner-up finish, multiple final fours. On NYSSCOGS committees for 11 years for state rankings, All-State, and HOF.
Section 11
Coach Rick Punzone, Class B, Babylon HS, 2002-2022, career record 347-86, 11 league titles, 10 section titles, 7 regional titles, 2 State Semifinals.

Coach/Contributor Maureen Rosenbaum, 2001-2023, Class AA, Archbishop Molloy HS, career record 345-109. 12 League (Brooklyn Queens) Championships, 8 City Titles and 2 State Catholic Championships. Was on NYSSCOGS committees more than five years.
